California-born designer Michelle-Louise Del Rio draws on her cultural heritage and research-led practice to reinterpret tradition through a refined, modern lens. Influenced by her multicultural background—her Chicano/Indigenous father and Colombian mother—her work transforms ancestral references into elevated pieces designed for contemporary everyday wear. Originally launched in New York in 2022 as a side project, the brand has since evolved into an expanding label now based in Paris.

To minimize overproduction and encourage mindful consumption, we create our pieces in small batches. Our designs are crafted either in our own studio or in collaboration with skilled seamstresses. Select styles are made from surplus materials sourced from luxury houses in Paris, which may feature subtle variations and unique details that celebrate the individuality and character of each piece.
Items purchased on michelledelrio.com are eligible for exchange or store credit only within 7 days of delivery. As a small brand with limited inventory, we can only offer exchanges for the same item. Returns are not accepted.
Sale items are final sale. Unless otherwise stated on the product listing, items purchased during a promotion or sale are not final sale and may be returned for exchange or store credit. Please note that we cannot offer price adjustments for purchases made before or after the promotional period.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original and additional shipping fees are non-refundable, and duties and taxes on international orders cannot be reimbursed. Buyers are responsible for covering all shipping costs, both within the EU and internationally.
We ship every Friday before 3:00 PM GMT. Orders placed after 3:00 PM GMT, on weekends, or during holidays will be processed and shipped on the next available shipping day.

Garment Care
We always suggest to dry clean, or hand wash with cold water and air dry with all of our products.
Leather Care
Protect from prolonged sunlight, heat, and humidity. Avoid water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics, as Nappa leather is delicate. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and air dry naturally. Avoid harsh chemicals and excess moisture. Storage Store flat or hang in a cool, dry place with fringe hanging freely. Professional Care For deep cleaning or restoration, consult a leather specialist. Over time, your belt will naturally develop character, reflecting its craftsmanship and journey.
